Custom Fabrication of a Stainless Steel Meter Cover

At Metal Coatings & Mfg. Co., we provide rugged, protective enclosures to customers in a variety of industries. One of our clients in transportation and fuel delivery contracted us to fabricate the metal cover seen here. We began by rendering our customer's specifications into a 2D CAD drawing. This project was made from 304 Stainless Steel, and used to cover and protect meters and gauges on a fuel delivery truck. We utilized our state-of-the-art equipment to construct these metal covers, including a laser, press brake, saw, machining center, and welders. Each finished meter cover measured 30" in width, 27" in height, 18" in depth, and was constructed to tightest tolerances of ±0.015". We now fabricate and deliver orders of 1 to 100 of these meter covers for our client in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a turnaround time of just 4 weeks.
